Metro: Last Light PC Review | DarkStation

DarkStation: "Last Light succeeds due to 4As attention to detail. Every overheard conversation, every child bundled up in rags and playing without a care, and every last bit of hardscrabble technology give the Metro that living, breathing feel that so many games chase. Its a relentlessly tense stealth-action shooter that manages to make its dead-horse premise feel as if its never been seen before now."

Metro: Last Light - Sensitive Media vs Sensitive Content

Added: 05.06.2013 20:18 | 0 views | 0 comments

Daav Valentaten discusses sensitive content in games and the heightened awareness of media on the Videogamer Network. While other, more spotlighted titles may have been shot down before release, the stealthy Metro: Last Light was able to release a game with topics like violence, abuse and rape without being scalded and in return showed proof that this can be done in games in a correct manner. Metro: Last Light Review (TheSixthAxis)

Metro 2033 was one of the highlights of this generation for me. The portrayal of a post apocalyptic Moscow where the people had retreated underground provided such a sorrowful tale of survival that it stuck with me. The main theme of Metro 2033 was about facing horrors and surviving, something it did very well. Metro: Last Light doesnt focus on the horror as much but thats because it instead gives us a story of war, evolution and survival.
